Weddings, fashion, color and romance have always been prevalent in my life. I have found profound joy as the author and illustrator of A Touch of Venus: Wedding Planning with the Bridal Zodiac.

As a writer, poet and artist of diversified interests, I also have an inquisitive interest in the craft of Astrology. This has encouraged my quest to compose this unique bridal guide marrying my Astrological knowledge with my vast experience as a National Bridal Service Certified Bridal Consultant and owner-operator of a successful one-stop wedding shop – The Red Palette Bridal Center.

While in the bridal business I wrote a newspaper column Wedding Wisdom and conducted workshops on wedding planning, was interviewed on radio talk shows, lectured on Astrological wedding planning and presented fashion shows using this concept.

Through the years, I have been affiliated with several organizations promoting the written word and my love of art. These include the International Women’s Writing Guild, National League of American Pen Women (Boca branch), Poets of the Palm Beaches (treasurer) and Margaret Reaney Writer’s Group (founding member).

My art memberships include World Organization of China Painters, Porcelain Painters of America, NYS Federation of China Painters, Adirondack Region Porcelain Artists (president 2 years, secretary 2 years), Gold Coast Porcelain Artists and Artists of Palm Beach County (founding member).

Although a master china painter for many years, watercolor is currently my medium of choice.

I served as president and secretary of the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research Astrological organization and presented workshops on wedding planning with Astrology at several NCGR conventions.

Born in the Mohawk Valley / Adirondack region of New York State, I now reside in the Palm Beach area of Florida.
